We will have centers three days a week.  Each of us teachers will lead the centers that focus on specific skills in Literacy, math and games (bingo, literacy and math games, board games and more).  We will rotate the children through each center in the morning.

Monday: 

The Mitten

Centers: Literacy (rhyming) Math (making pairs) Game( to be determined)

Art: What can fit into my mitten?

science:  Exploring the thermometer with mittens

Tuesday:

The Hat

Centers: Literacy (exploring books) Math (Which number is next?) Games

Art: Snow hat (What can fit in my hat?)

Science: Exploring the thermometer and recording temp. with hats on and off

Wednesday

Annie and the Wild Animals

Art:  Wild animal snow scene free art

Math: How many animals in the mitten?  rolling dice game

Science:  Measuring temperature in different areas of the school.

Thursday

Cinders a Chicken Cinderella

Literacy:  Journals

Math: mitten match

Art:Candy cane sleighs

Science Measuring temperature different kinds of thermometers Digital, vs non-digital

Friday

Three Snow Bears

Literacy: Journals 

Math: exploring size  (big, bigger, biggest) etc.

Art: Snow bears

Science:  water temperature
