Fire Safety Week

This week is national fire safety week, as well as our theme for the week. The learning activities and art projects for the week will all be centered around fire safety. We will create our own song lyrics today during music time, and these will be posted laterJ

Monday:

·         Art: Fiery Art Painting

·         Math: Telephone number and/or 911 number trace

·         Science: Candle experiment (demonstrates that a flame is put out when there is no oxygen)

Tuesday:

·         Math: Firemen counting activity

·         Science: candle experiment

Wednesday:

·         Art: Fireman project

·         Science: fire discussion

Thursday:

·         Art: Shape fire engine
