2/3 Schedule: Feelings

We had a wonderful week in the 2/3 class at Discovery Garden! The kids are becoming familiar with our daily routine. Our daily schedule is below.


9:00-9:15 Discovery Play
9:15-9:30: Classroom Meeting (Greeting/Calendar)
9:30-9:45: Fine Motor
 9:45-10:00: Centers (Sensory/Dramatic Play/Literacy)
10:00-10:15: Snack
10:15-10:30: Free Play/Bathrooms
10:30-11:00: Outdoor Play
11:00-11:30: Art
11:30-12:00: Lunch
12:00-12:15: Free Play/Bathrooms

This week we are exploring feelings. We will make play dough portraits, and mix-and-match feeling eggs. We will play "Guess my Feeling" and fish for feeling faces with magnet fishing poles. We will also continue to explore colors and shapes through water color paint, tempera paint, finger paint using a variety of painting instruments.


Songs this week include "If You're Happy and You Know it" and "Head Shoulders Knees and Toes".
