Fun with Gardening

We have had a fun two weeks with our gardening theme!  We love to integrate math, science, literacy, art, music and drama.  We have counted flower petals and compared our amounts, looked at plant parts under a microscope and watch seeds sprout!  The children sampled a variety of vegetables for a school survey, examined and painted with vegetables and planted vegetable seeds for our garden.  We will finish up tomorrow by observing sunflowers, arranging flowers and creating our own seed story.
